“End War” Production

January 17th, 2009

You can download the 720p HD version here:END WAR TRAILER 720P

PLT Studio recently finished shooting for an upcoming AirSoft promotion. It was definitely a great experience to be able to work with such an enthusiastic and professional cast.  Considering the locations (some were admittedly harsher than others), transportation and long days with back-bending equipment— we finished the principal photography in a very efficient manner. Great times.

Here are some stills from the production.

    Nice way to portray our Sport/Hobby with a bunch of guys running around without proper eyewear. I’m very disappointed in the fact of how SC Village requires players to wear full face and ear protection, however they produce a video showing every player without any eyewear at all. Again “Hollywood” doing damage to our hobby by allowing potential players and parents the ability to view a potentially dangerous sport without the proper protection required to participate.

    Please in the future take safety into consideration when planning and portraying our activities.

    @Ghost

    Safety first. I think this is purely a dramatization. There is also a DISCLAIMER that tells you to wear your goggles and face masks. It’s obviously a pretty BAD idea to play without safety goggles and/or protective gear.

    Wear your masks and goggles everyone. Cool video btw!! Where are these locations??

    Thanks for the feedback everyone! :)

    The locations we shot at were Hollywood Sports Park, SC Village, and a few from Huntington Beach.

    Hope to see you guys at End War!

    Yeah I think the people who would watch this video and think they didn’t have to wear the proper eye protection would be the same people who can’t read the DAMN DISCLAIMER IN THE BEGINNING.

    Awesome! It made me want to see what happens next. I think it’s very clear that the proper face protection is needed (as it states in the begining) and i don’t think this damages the sport at all, it’s a great promotion. I’d hope that parents of younger players are responsible enough to notice all the warnings that come with every type of sports equipment, and required by every park before allowing their children to participate in such an awesome sport. I hope there will be another installment guys, keep it up.

    This was so well done that I think it deserves critiquing. I understand the lack of mask, it’s like ER when they open someone’s chest and have conversations without masks to show the intensity. There are however two things I do have an issue with; the prisoners and falling when shot scenes. I think both of these should be removed. If I was a parent trying to understand the game I would be completely turned off with the idea of prisoners. Playing out this kind of thing can only go downhill. The other issue is someone falling down as if they have been shot. Do they also yell Aaaaaaagh? It just looks childish.

    That said, I would easily give this a 9 out of 10. The ending is most excellent.

    Nice video. But way to go guys, nice way showing airsoft without any safety equipment being used. That’s all we need irresponsibility in this sport, like we don’t have enough problems. Think about it guys, it’s like showing guys playing paintball shooting each other with out goggles.

    Geezz….
